Roofs
Debris build up can lead to several issues such as shingle deterioration, pests, rot, mold, and moss. These issues can eventually lead to roof leaks, which in turn could cause damage to your home. This is why we recommend keeping your roof clear of debris and moss. We recommend getting your roof cleaned at least twice a year. To learn more about our roof cleaning services continue reading below.
If a roof is too steep we may not be able to complete the job. If you are concerned that your roof may be too steep contact us and we can come out and do a free walkthrough or you can send a photo to estimate@zohomeservicesllc.com

Debris Removal
Our debris removal service consist of using a leaf blower to get all debris off your roof. If you have valley flashing (see photo below) we wipe it clean after blowing off all the debris for a nice clean look. Have a garden or area you want to keep clean? Don't worry we will be sure to avoid blowing debris in that direction. After all the debris is off your roof we clean up any mess that gets into your yard so it will look like we were never there. We can dispose of the debris in your yard waste or we can take it with us upon request for a small additional fee.

*Moss removal / treatment not included but can be added.

**This service does not include gutter cleaning. While this service is available to anyone we recommend this service for those who have gutter shields/guards. As those customers are likely to not need a gutter cleaning.
Moss Kill
For this service we loosen the moss and expose moss spores by scrubbing with a wire brush. The wire brush we use is tough on moss but gentle on roofs, so no need to worry about damage to your roof or shingles. Our goal is to help preserve the life of your roof so we will not use any tool or products that could cause damage to your roof! After we loosen the moss, we remove it; in additon to any other debris; with a leaf blower. We then treat your roof to kill any remaining moss and prevent the regrowth of new moss. We do this by using a zinc based powder product.

Unlike some companies our moss kill service includes gutter cleaning. Since we are the ones blowing and pushing all the extra debris into your gutters, it just makes sense! Additionally, we make sure to clean up all debris that may fall into your yard. We can dispose of it in your yard waste or take it with us upon request for a small additional fee.

Our moss kill treatment will last anywhere from 6-12months. Therefore we recommend prevention treatment every 6 months. This not only helps to prevent the reoccurance of moss growth, but also can reduce or prevent the amount of scrubbing that needs to be done to your roof in the future. Prevention treatment is extremely important if you live in an area with alot of trees, as moisture and shade are the perfect combination for moss growth.
