Carpet & Upholstery Liability Waiver
We are thrilled to offer you our services, while we are experts in the services we offer, we are not magicians, and unfortunately cannot guarantee perfect results or that, in very rare instances, the cleaning service you request will not result in damage to your carpet, upholstery, as applicable. As a valued customer, we want to be sure that you understand the limitations of and risks inherent in the provision of our services before you proceed.
ACCEPTANCE OF RISK OF LOSS AND/OR DAMAGE
Our guarantee is to provide you expertise and workmanship consistent with industry standards of care, combined with results that may be limited by the conditions and cleaning situation we encounter. The cleaning situation we encounter may include, but is not limited to, stubborn pet stain and odor issues; food and beverage stains; paint, glue, or dye stains; pervasive mold or mildew; wear and tear (fibers and/or materials weakened by age, chemical, or insect damage, degraded adhesives, etc.); home or professional cleaning agents; water or sun damage; compromised materials and/or dyes; or other manufacturer- or use-related factors.
Although we exercise care in minimizing factors that may result in sub-par results and/or damage to the extent reasonably possible, YOUR SIGNATURE BELOW INDICATES THAT YOU UNDERSTAND THAT, ALTHOUGH RARE, THE CLEANING SERVICE PERFORMED CARRIES RISKS OF PERMANENT DAMAGE, YOU ARE PROCEEDING WITH YOUR CLEANING SERVICE WITH THESE RISKS IN MIND, AND YOU RELEASE US FROM ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR DURING OR AFTER YOUR ZO HOME SERVICES SERVICE including, without limitation, shrinkage or stretching; fugitive or migrating dyes; materials that bleed; bleached spots, sun or other forms of fading; cellulosic browning; texture change; ripped or torn materials; permanent discoloration or stains; detergent or spotter damage or residue; odor changes (including worsening odor problems post-treatment); and any and all reactions to the cleaning agents employed by ZO HOME SERVICES personnel.
We also cannot guarantee that long-standing stains, including, without limitation, traffic stains, food stains, and filtration lines (dark accumulation of dirt and debris at the wall edges of carpet) will be completely removed or significantly improved.
In some instances, we encounter stubborn stains on delicate materials, which are recommended (whether by manufacturing cleaning codes or industry practice) to be cleaned using specific methods, such as using only dry solvent cleaning, low water temperature, and/or low PSI. However, such prescribed and gentle cleaning methods do not always produce excellent results. *WE DO NOT PROVIDE DRY SOLVENT CLEANING.

You understand we will have hoses running throughout your home or facility during the cleaning service. We are not responsible for injuries that might result from our hoses, equipment, or misplaced furniture being in a walkway.

Colorfastness
Varies depending on the materials, previous cleaning attempts, and vegetable dyes used in manufacturing. We test carpet for dye stability before cleaning and take appropriate precautions to mitigate dye migration. However, on occasion, the dyes in a carpet behave in a way that we could not anticipate. Fugitive/ migrating/bleeding dyes could occur during cleaning or most commonly during the drying process.

Bug/Rodent Infestation
We will not clean carpet in a home or facility that has an obvious bug or rodent infestation: bed bugs, cockroaches, fleas, lice, mice, rats, etc. If your home or facility has an infestation of any sort, please cancel and reschedule with us when your home or facility has been treated and cleared by a professional extermination service.
Personal Property
Please have small furniture and personal and/or valuable items such as magazines, clothing, kid’s toys, shoes, etc., off the floor unless you do not want the carpet cleaned beneath such items. Please put any items you do not want damaged in a secure place, as we will be using chemicals, hot water, and moving equipment. While we do our best to avoid damage, sometimes situations out of our control happen. You and your respective agent(s) agree to indemnify and hold harmless ZO HOME SERVICES from damages, liabilities and costs that could arise from such situations at your property.

Moving Furniture
We do offer moving furniture, this is included in our rate. We do use plastic furniture tabs to protect your furniture and carpet. Though we take every precaution to safely move your furniture, we are not responsible for damages that might result from moving furniture, whether to your furniture or your home or facility. We also do not move furniture that is used to hold or house electronics such as televisions, radios, computers, telephones, lamps, etc. Please have electronics moved from these types of furniture prior to our arrival if you would like them moved. WE DO NOT MOVE FURNITURE OR ITEMS OF HIGH VALUE I.E. WORK EQUIPMENT, FINE CHINA, CRYSTAL, ETC.

Estimate vs Quote:
Please note ZO HOME SERVICES offers Estimates to our customers and NOT Quotes. We do our best to provide our customers with the most accurate estimate, however each home has different needs . This is why we offer estimates and not quotes. What is the difference? A quote is an agreed upon amount to be paid, like a contract that is to be honored. An estimate is to give you a general idea of what we think the service may cost based on the information you provide us with. However certain situations/circumstances may result in the service costing more than what was estimated. Some examples of these situations include: inaccurate description from customer, stubborn stains, type of fabric, etc.
Pricing:
We charge a minimum service fee of ________ for any carpet, $100 for any upholstery cleaning service and $50 for any stain removal service (after the 1st initial free stain).
We include deodorizing and stain protection treatment at no additional cost for all carpet and upholstery services.
Payment:
PAYMENT IS DUE AT TIME OF SERVICE UNLESS PRIOR AGREEMENT HAS BEEN MADE. Commercial clients with established relationships can be invoiced. We accept: all Major Credit and Debit cards, Cashapp, Paypal, Venmo, Zelle, Samsung pay, Google pay, and Apple pay.
Photographs:
We like to keep photos of our work current on our website and social media(s). Do we have permission to take before & after photos on the date of service to publish on our website and/or social media(s)? yes no

Any service complaint related to re-cleaning certain areas must be made within two weeks of the original service date & time. Pets In Home

With regard to pet stain and pet odor treatment and removal due to a variety of factors beyond our control,we CANNOT guarantee 100% pet odor and pet stain removal
Urine Odor Removal Waiver and Disclaimer
I fully understand that my carpeting, rugs, and/or item(s) of fabric or furniture are currently damaged due to pet or human urine deposits. I understand that undesirable results may occur in the form of shrinkage, wicking, browning, yellowing, or discoloration because urine is a complex mixture of ingredients that uniquely affect various fabrics differently. I hereby authorize ZO HOME SERVICES to perform a urine stain and/or odor removal process. I agree to the stated price: $50/stain for the service and I understand that there is no guarantee implied or expressed that all urine stains and/or odor will be removed. **All carpet & upholstery services include (1) single stain removal free.

We will be running equipment in your home, which may require entering and exiting during service. Please place your pet(s) in a crate, bathroom, or safe location where they will not escape out of the open door. We are not responsible for lost pets or their whereabouts during the service.
